I am pleased to share that another article of mine has been published by Plough Quarterly, this one on a topic that has long been important to me: the need for Christianity to put forth an idea of what it means to be a man that is grounded in Jesus, not in toxic cultural tropes. The piece appears in their winter edition: “What are families for?” And while conscience compels me to note that I disagree with the answers to that question offered by some of the other contributors, I am grateful to have had the opportunity and encouragement to expound on my understanding of Christian masculinity in some depth.
